The Parting Glass by Jayda Mc Cann
The Parting Glass is a charity single by Jayda Mc Cann. The proceeds of the recording will be used to fund Jayda's ongoing expenses to treat her terminal Sarcoma cancer.
A proportion of the funds raised will also be donated to "The Gavin Glynn Foundation" an excellent charity that helps families with children who have been diagnosed with cancer, to travel overseas for treatment.
Cardboard City by Damien Dempsey
Damien Dempsey is a legendary rock/folk singer in Ireland. He mixes traditional Irish/Celtic Rhythms with modern rock. He wrote the song Cardboard City in 1995. It's a song about Dublin's homes population.
The irony is that after two decades since the song was originally recorded the homelessness figures have rocketed to astronomical numbers for such a small country as Ireland.

Little Gangster Boy by Damien Dempsey
This is a film by the Irish recording Artist, Damien Dempsey. It's a video cut from the box office hit feature film "Cardboard Gangsters", which Damien wrote this song for and also played a role in the film as well.
The song shows the true brutality of gangland life. No matter how seductive it is for the many with so little, it ultimately brings misery, lost potential, for the individuals themselves, their families and society as a whole.
